Every night, my husband and I have a ritual after the Beckster finally falls into a deep slumber - we watch a little bit of Seinfeld and consume a lot of sweets, guilt free. Fruity candies, cookie dough, brownies, chocolate ice cream...just to name a few. Danny and I believe we should indulge while we're young because in later years of life, this kind of sugar frenzy is either fantasized about or done during major life events like birthdays and Sunday dinners. The key to eating goodies daily, guilt free, whether in your older years or younger years, is to either breastfeed (this alone means you deserve to eat anything because 9 months of pregnancy and squirting out a watermelon sized baby isn't easy), exercise like a maniac (my husband's trick), eat like a popper and portion control. When I stop using the breastfeeding excuse and jump back on the exercising and healthy eating bandwagon, I would love to share some of my tips! Now, it would only by appropriate to insert a picture of last night's sugary feat.
Soo yummy. Yes, I'm shooting for the portion control option but I always have my week moments too...but you wouldn't even know you guys did that every night by looking at you!
