When my brother Mike and my now sister-in-law Emily (emilyjdickson.blogspot.com) got married back in August, I promised Emily a wedding present of her choice. And like the stylish girl she is, she wanted a dress made from the Cynthia Rowley pattern 2497. I love it!!
I found that pattern surprisingly easier than I thought. Now I want to make one for myself! I hope that this one fits Emily, it almost fits me like a glove, I just made it a bit taller for Emily.
seriously, you are amazing! I love that color on you!! I have met Emily through blogging too and she is awesome, she will look gorgeous in that dress. Where did you get that pattern?
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I love it and I can't wait to wear it! You are the best Liz!!! I love my wedding present :) The red will be perfect for Christmas time
ReplyDeleteThis is so random, but I know Emily because I used to work with her and that's how I found your blog. Anyways, that is totally the dress I got made for my sisters to wear for my wedding in January! great minds think alike
ReplyDeletenow, we need to have Emily take a picture in it so we can see her in it. great job Liz!!

ReplyDeleteI love it! I think the color choice would be great for you too! Too bad you have to send it away, hahaha. :)
ReplyDeleteI think you've accessorized it beautifully as well. Brown and red get so overlooked together. Very nice style!! And your collar is way better than mine!! :D
