DIY Inspiration: sweatshirts

The sweatshirt trend this season has made me so excited! It opens up a world of DIYs. I'm sure many of you, like me, have a million sweatshirts laying around, ready to by upcycled. There are many different ways to change them up with lettering, images, sequins, pom-poms, metallic spray paint, fur, collars, zippers, buttons, jewels, but what has me even more excited is how to wear them. Lots of unique options and ways to mix it up, like making a sweatshirt formal with some fur and a circle skirt or dressing it down with acid wash jeans and sneakers. Endless possibilities. Can't wait to show you guys what I've come up with!

  1. I'm so happy non-hooded sweatshirts are on trend! And we're thinking the same because I'm currently digging out all my old ones to see what I still like and which plain ones I want to "up-cycle."

  5. I actually don't have any sweatshirts like this! ): I always felt like they looked so 90s but apparently not if you dress them up. So excited about this trend now, haha thanks!!!

  9. Can't wait to see what you come up with. I have several hooded sweatshirts in my closet and I really dislike them. They just feel so cumbersome like I'm wearing a blanket around all day. Yet, I can't seem to get rid of them because they are so warm.

  12. I love this style! It screams I'm comfy and warm...and don't care what I look like! From the top up anyways...pair it with stilettos and a leather skirt and it changes everything. I can't wait to see what you come up with :)
