Day 8: "You Look Like Your Mother" Dress

This shirt and dress were both worn during pregnancy, hence the black shirt's saginess in the tummy area. The grey dress was actually a black one, but of course I forgot to take a picture before I cut it up so, I posted the grey one instead so you can get the idea. This dress is awesome for pregnancy; it was very comfy, covered all of my ummmm, imperfections, and helped keep me cool in the summer heat.

Now, the time has come to chop chop. So, off went the dress's ruched top and the saggy bottom half of the shirt! I love this look people are wearing these days, like Jill from good life for less and Andy from Style Scrapbook.

Now, the post title includes my husband's quote " you look like your mother" in it because my mom, foxy Roxy, loves to wear black and loves to wear things very long. That is why Danny said that to me the first time I put it on. My mom is a sexy women, so I took it as a compliment.
