If you are running out the door to something you want to look cute at, but don't have the time....try one of these! The braided high pony tail, the braided head band or the braided headband with chignon. This is great too if you don't know how to french braid...easy and takes a few minutes. Or you can try one of these buns!
HIGH BRAIDED PONY TAIL
Put into high pony tail, leave a little out from underneath, braid it, secure with clear band on bottom, twist the little piece around top band and secure with bobby pin.
BRAIDED HEAD BAND
Braid a small piece from behind the ear, wrap over head and pin near other ear, repeat with other side.
BRAIDED HEADBAND WITH CHIGNON
Follow instructions from above, take hair and twist at the lower back of the head loosely, and pin. OR you can use do this with a bun...like one of these.
I love the look of the braids and chignon. Very fancy withouth being fussy. Can't wait to try it!

ReplyDeleteThe braided headband is wonderful! It's things like these that make me wish my hair was long occasionally.

I love your toutorials! I'm always wishing I knew how to "do" my long hair, and your posts are a great place to get ideas and not be intimidated.
ReplyDeleteI never have much luck with doing my hair but I'm doing to try the braided "headband" because it looks so cute! Thanks for the tutorial :)
ReplyDeleteWow, you have amazing hair! I just found your blog via Giverslog, and I love it so far! I have super-fine hair that I'm trying to grow longer. It's hard for me to do last minute classy, because if my hair is looking flat that day, there's not much I can do with it to make it look nice. But I'm working on trying to figure it out! One thing that works sometimes for fine hair is a quick french twist. It's easy in my hair because I only need a few pins to secure it (since it's fine and thin and light)
